Happy Sunday Creative Army!

I hope you are having a great Labor Day Weekend so far. This fine Sunday morning, I invite you to take in some film content while you sip your daily dark roast. Let's dive in, shall we?

First up, Kurt Yue of Acting Career Center recently interview 10 actors about what "survival job" side-hustles keep them working between acting gigs. Kurt does a great job providing examples of folks working part-time, full-time, independently, or for a company. He goes one step further and breaks it down by hours worked, job flexibility, and how someone could get started working in each gig. While these are all actors in this video, many of these jobs are great side hustles for anyone working in entertainment.

Next up, actor, writer, and director Ethan Hawk recently did a TED talk about how to give yourself permission to be creative. Creativity is one of the most allusive qualities of being a filmmaker - and their are endless ways to manifest creativity. In this uplifting video, Ethan talks about letting go of the world's response to your work and focusing more on the work itself, following your passion, "playing the fool", and more.
