Happy Sunday Creative Army!
First of all, congratulations to all of you who have already participated in our monthly Introduce Yourself Weekend! Thousands of connections have been made between entertainment creatives and professionals from every corner of the globe. Whether you are a long-time member, or brand new to Stage 32, take a moment to pop over to the Introduce Yourself Lounge and say hello before the end of the weekend. Now, grab some fresh coffee and let's dive in to this week's fresh content.
First up, entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Evan Carmichael has a series of videos highlighting people at the top of their craft. In this particular video, Writer/Director Christopher Nolan (Tenet, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk, The Dark Knight, The Prestige) is the subject. Evan pieces together some of Christopher Nolan's best advice from previous interviews to provide you with his top ten rules for success including: passion, resourcefulness, storytelling, and more.
Next up, The Closer Look has curated a video essay all about how Oscar winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino writes scenes. From writing dialogue to leave the audience wanting more to mastering character development and suspense, this video uses examples from Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight, and Inglorious Basterds.
