Happy Sunday Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee and let's dive in.

First up, Netflix recently released a video about the making of The Queen's Gambit. Since its release, The Queen's Gambit has been viewed by over 62 million people. Chess set sales have gone up 90% in the US with chess books sales rising a staggering 600% according to Variety since The Queen's Gambit came out. According to the producer, Allan Scott, this project took over 30 years and 9 rewrites to come to life. Your stories, your projects, have power - stick to your dream. They take time, and this project is a beautiful example of time well spent.

Next up, The Hollywood Reporter has a series of roundtable discussions featuring some of the top creatives and professionals in the industry. This video highlights directors and includes Barry Jenkins (Moonlight), Oliver Stone (Snowden), Damien Chazelle (La La Land), Denzel Washington (Fences), Mira Nair (Queen of Katwe), and Mel Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge). This candid hour-long chat is sure to get you ready to create magic in 2021.
