Hey, guys. Hope you're having a terrific Sunday and cultivating the seed of fantastic and meaningful relationships during Introduce Yourself Weekend.
Today, I have 2 videos designed to educate, motivate and inspire.
First up, from the Royal Ocean Film society, one fantastic video essay: Lessons for the No-Budget Filmmaker. We hear many excuses around these parts regarding the reasons not to pick up a camera and start shooting. This video will make those excuses moot.
Next, it's inarguable that Charlie Kaufman has provided one of the most original voices to burst on the screenwriting scene over the last 2 decades. From Being John Malkovich to Adaptation to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kaufman has wowed audiences, and his fellow scribes, with his original settings and characters. In this video from BAFTA Guru, Kaufman shares some inspirational writing advice I think you'll all enjoy.
As always, I ask that you pay it forward and share this content with those you think would benefit from viewing. And, of course, I welcome your thoughts and musings in the comments section below.
Enjoy! And don't forget to greet and meet your fellow 32'ers in the Introduce Yourself section!
