As many of you know, this network originated with me asking 100 of my industry friends to invite at least 5 of their fellow peers to join the community. My intention from day one was to give each member a feeling of ownership in what I wished would become a creative revolution while introducing the collaborative, kindred and positive spirit I hoped would permeate this site.
As creatives, we all need support. It’s paramount. Without it the mountain peaks seem to tease from a higher distance, the paths to glory, at times, thorny and impassable.
Simply put, there’s power in numbers. And as it relates to this network, I’ve said from day one, the more members, the stronger the community, and the stronger the community, the more opportunity.
The tradition of crowdsourcing the Stage 32 community continues. To this day, we ask each new member to invite at least 5 fellow creatives to the community. Some have gone way above and beyond and invited literally thousands of their peers. On behalf of the entire community, we thank you. If you haven’t had the opportunity yet to send your invites, we’ve made it easier than ever to do so with our new Invite Your Fellow Creative Friends boxes which can be found on your Home, Profile and Private Messages pages. Details are below.
Perhaps you know a creative who has left the game. Or maybe one that is aspiring to follow his or her creative dreams in the new year. Perhaps you belong to a writing group, are attending an acting class, worked on a film with cast and crew who are not on Stage 32, or simply have contacts from your years of pursuing your goals – we ask you to take a minute to pay it forward
and invite any and all to join our family.
I thank you in advance. Have a creative week!
