Pilar Alessandra is one of my favorite people. She's not only a teacher and champion for dedicated, hard-working writers, but an energetic dynamo who is always spreading positive vibes. Her podcast, On the Page, remains a must listen for screenwriters.
Recently, Pilar and I were discussing ways that screenwriters hold themselves back from success and what strategies they can implement to give themselves a competitive advantage beyond honing their craft. After talking for a while, Pilar asked if I'd like to return to On the Page to bring these ideas to the masses - a request I was all too happy to accept.
Although On the Page is screenwriter-centric, the material on this episode will be useful for all creatives. Hope you enjoy!
