Another exciting day here at the Stage 32 offices...
After some down to the wire judging, we have a winner for our 4th Annual Search for New Blood Screenwriting Contest. Please help us congratulate Kevin Bachar! Kevin's script, Blood Relative, floored our panel of executive judges, all of whom are anxious and ready to meet Kevin in person. And that's exactly what's going to happen! As with all our contest winners, Kevin will be flown to Los Angeles for meetings and mentoring sessions with some of the top executives working in the industry and within the horror space.

In second place this year is Tom Manning, writer of The Halo Thieves. Tom's work was also highly praised by our judges.

There were so many creative ideas well executed this year. And the scoring for the scripts reaching the finals was, in many cases, razor close. We're excited to send the loglines for all of our finalists to the hundreds of industry executives and professionals we work with at Stage 32.

Congratulations to Kevin, Tom and all the incredible writers who reached the finals this year!
