RB's Stage 32 News, Notes, Discussions, and Other Fun Stuff (March 14th, 2014)

Posted by Richard "RB" Botto

A slightly truncated Weekend Blog this time around. Been down at SXSW this past week mentoring and taking meetings. Only now beginning to catch up on the news and events of the past 7 days. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by the horrible events down in Austin on Wednesday evening. An unnecessary tragedy in every sense.

Quickly, some highlights this week:

A journalist from Deadline Hollywood states her case as to why Mel Gibson should be forgiven and welcomed back into the fold. It’s a truly interesting piece of writing. I’d love to get your thoughts. But only if you read the article first!

I also have some other entertainment news including what we know about True Detective Season Two.

As always, I’ve put the spotlight on some of the best and most interesting Lounge discussions of the last week, proposed and planned Stage 32 Meetups, a couple of cool trailers out of SXSW, and screenwriting, filmmaking and acting tips.
