RB's Stage 32 News, Notes, Discussions and Other Fun Stuff (September 26th, 2014)

Posted by Richard "RB" Botto
Another week in the books.  Welcome to the weekend.

In this edition of the Weekend Blog a bunch of fall television articles including a very cool story from The Hollywood Reporter on how 14 showrunners pitched their new shows.  As you know, it pays to be good in a room.  See what tact these showrunners took to wow the brass.

Additionally, under Entertainment News, I have an interview with David Fincher, a preview of the Gone Girl Soundtrack courtesy of Trent Reznor, 15 Netflix hacks, a very comprehensive look back at Lost, you'll find out where Stephen King's Kennedy assassination story has landed, a view of the next frontier of filmmaking, why more filmmaking drones will be coming to a town near you, and much, much more.

Under TIPS, I have some lighting, composing and screenwriting knowledge.  And under VIDEOS, a must see from Steven Soderbergh as he strips down Raiders of the Lost Ark to black and white.

I also have over five dozen Stage 32 Lounge posts including threads on various disciplines, Stage 32 Success Stories and all the Stage 32 Meetups happening around the globe.

And finally, under Stage 32 News, I have all the latest Next Level Webinars, Next Level Classes, Online Pitchfest, and contest information.

That enough?  Whew...

Enjoy, and have a terrific weekend!
