Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

First up, we're looking at A.I., but not to lament or debate its future impact on screenwriters or the rest of the industry. Instead, we're looking behind the scenes at EX-MACHINA, a 2014 film centered on a programmer tasked by his reclusive boss with testing the believability of a humanoid robot. In this video from Nerdstalgic, you'll see how this film used the core themes of what it means to be human to influence the look of the robot, Ava, and how they were able to create incredible visuals (and ultimately nabbed an Oscar for them).

Next, in this video from StudioBinder, we're looking at the tracking shot. We've all seen a tracking shot and know the general idea of what it should look like. But what about when to use it? Why you should use it? What is the effect you're going for? These are all questions that will how you use this classic shot in your project. Master it, and you could create a moment viewers will never forget.

As always, here at Stage 32, we love to share stories and knowledge with our fellow film fans. Know someone who would love this content? Share it with them! Tag them below!
