Hi Stage 32ers!

Are you new to Stage 32?

Or are you just so overwhelmed like I am about how much you can do at Stage 32, but it’s hard to find the things you are searching for?

Well, then this post is for you! I will give you a short guide and some tips on where you can find the different things at Stage 32 as soon as you do your first login! So, fasten your seatbelt, and be ready for some tips to help you navigate through Stage 32!

First, after you have filled out your information and account, add a profile picture to your profile. It is a requirement that you have a profile picture, and it is also a good way for your fellow members to see who they are having a connection with.

Next, write in your bio! This is also a requirement, but it is also your chance to shine and tell all of us who you are, what your work is or just what you love about the entertainment industry! You can also add your previous experience to your profile, so people can see what you have been working on/as in your career.

After creating your profile, so it looks super-hot, you are ready to move to the next step!

Connections!

Connections are one of the biggest keys to success at stage32! We have close to 1 million members, and everyone supports each other’s work. We guide, help, advise, and comment on each other’s posts!

If you have a question or a concern, this is a great place to get the answer you seek! Find people through the lounges, or search for people in the search field. You can search for people in a specific place in the world, or you can search for screenwriters if you are looking to connect with screenwriters, or directors, etc. Go to “browse” and choose members. Then you will see this:

Here you can narrow down your search for a specific person, position, or location.

Make your first post in a lounge! We have so many lounges that you can subscribe to. (Look at the picture below) Go to that lounge you are interested in or simply subscribe to them all, why not? All lounges have so many discussions, and you learn new things every single day! Choose “Lounges” in the panel and choose “all lounges” and you can see many of them.

If you click on “All Lounges" you will see all the lounges, and you can click “Subscribe.”

Now you have created your profile and filled out your information, you have made your first connections with other members, and created a post in a lounge! Now what?

Well, now you know what I call the “basic.” Now you will know what Stage 32 can help you with or do for you that no other platform or social media can! We have so many offers at Stage 32, and a good way to start is by signing up for the “Writers’ Room.” The Writer’s Room is a private room where you have so many opportunities, there are zoom calls with the CEO Richard Botto who is so
inspiring, and you can really feel how much effort he puts into creating this for all of us! Plus, Writers' Room members receive discounts on Script Services, like pitch sessions, script coverage, and contest submissions, and you have access to a Vault of all the previously recorded interviews with executives and creatives from all over the industry.

Other than the Writers' Room you can go to the “Education” tab, where the webinars, classes, and labs offer so many different things! There is so much that you probably will have a hard time choosing what you want to learn or be a part of via zoom! Here you see the education options.

For reference, I chose to go to “Next Level Webinars” where you can see a few of the options that you can attend. Once you purchased the webinar you have access for a full year (front the date it aired or was purchased if you buy "On Demand"), so if you can’t make it when the webinar airs, you can watch it within a year and return to watch again and again to make sure you get all of the information you need.

Screenwriter

The thing I love about screenwriting is that there are no rules about how a story has to be, it is a unique way to create something that other people can watch. I'm a self-taught screenwriter, based in Copenhagen. When I write, I write something that inspires me to create a fictional story,...
