Stage 32 Now Certifying Curaçao: Massive Opportunity for Caribbean Film Talent!

As the film commissioner for Curaçao, I am proud to share that the Curaçao Film Office has entered into a strategic partnership with Stage 32 to open up Stage 32’s globally recognized certification program to filmmakers across our island.
This collaboration represents a huge step forward for our local film and television industry, not only just for Curaçao’s creative community, but also for the wider Caribbean, as a hub of multi-lingual talent, training, and world-class production opportunity.
Curaçao: A Tropical Film Paradise with Global Opportunity
Curaçao is one of the Caribbean’s most visually striking and culturally rich destinations. From our breathtaking beaches and coastlines to the vibrant colonial architecture of our capital city Willemstad, our nation offers filmmakers a world of cinematic possibilities. Curaçao is more than a location; it is a natural stage filled with light, color, character, and stories waiting to be told.
With locations ranging from desert landscapes and historic mansions to turquoise waters and colorful cityscapes, Curaçao represents an attractive destination for international film and television productions.
Through this partnership with Stage 32, our goal as Curaçao Film Office is to position Curaçao not only as a filming destination, but also as an audiovisual education hub in the Caribbean.

The Mission of the Curaçao Film Office
As the official governmental body dedicated to promoting Curaçao as a filming destination, the Curaçao Film Office works to strengthen the island’s creative industries while attracting global productions to our shores.
We provide support services, location guidance, and production facilitation, while also investing in long-term talent development so Curaçao’s filmmakers and crew can compete at the highest international level.
Some of the international and local film and television productions that have used Curaçao as a shooting location, include: Invasion (2024), a Dutch-produced action film; the feature film Love Fail Repeat (2025); Bon Bini Holland 3 (2022), a Dutch comedy film; Kurason di un Pueblo (2021), a locally produced film; Top Chef (2023); the internationally known reality TV series shot an edition in Curaçao in 2023; the short film Roba Alma (2024).
Strengthening Curaçao’s Film Industry Through Stage 32’s Certification
At the Curaçao Film Office, we believe that professional training and workforce development are essential pillars for the growth of our national film industry.
Stage 32 is the world’s largest online social platform for film and television professionals, offering more than 4,500 hours of educational content, workshops, labs, and certification programs led by top Hollywood and international industry experts.
Through this alliance, Curaçaoan filmmakers – from emerging creatives to experienced professionals – will now have access to Stage 32’s globally recognized certification programs, delivered fully online. This enables participants to upskill from anywhere while building global networks and advancing their careers in the film and television industries.

Benefits of the partnership with Stage 32 for the Curaçao Film Community
This strategic partnership brings tremendous value to Curaçao’s filmmaking community by connecting local talent directly to the global entertainment industry.
Through Stage 32, filmmakers and crew members from Curaçao will not only gain access to top-level international education and professional certification, but also become part of Stage 32’s thriving global social community of more than 1.3 million film and television professionals worldwide.
