Having grown up under the shadow of a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr monument on the east side of San Antonio, TX, Camille Monae learned early on the power of one voice. The early experiences of her childhood drove her desire to impact the lives of others in positive ways. After discovering her calling at the age of 12, Camille took to the stage. Her primary goal - to make people cry. Or, more eloquently, to invoke their emotions and lead them to change their minds and hearts.
A dynamic actor, comfortable with both dramatic and comedic material, in 2015 Camille decided to make a move to tv/film acting. Under the instruction of acclaimed actor Glenn Morshower (24, Transformers), Camille gained the additional skill set to work successfully on screen and signed with the Linda McAlister Talent agency.
Camille is currently working on the creation of an original comedic web-series and a podcast. She enjoys all things nerd culture and is always looking for more shelf space for her Wonder Woman collection. Her personal heroes are Dorothy Zbornak, Maxine Shaw, and April Ludgate. In her other work, Camille helps others as a Program and Engagement Manager for a large healthcare non-profit organization.
