About Carter

My Name is Carter (They/Them/Theirs), and I am an art director, filmmaker, and illustrator based in West Orange, NJ.

I graduated with a BFA in Filmmaking from Montclair State University in 2020, with a large concentration in production design for film. As well, I worked as a Scene Shop Assistant during my 4 years at college, where I built, painted, and organized set builds for 17 live productions.

I am looking for storyboarding work in the NYC area for film, tv, and theater. My strengths lie in concept design and illustration, and are elevated due to my background in film, screenwriting, scenic, and art direction.

Unique traits: As well as working in film and television, I work in technical theater as a stage technician, scenic painter, and carpenter. As well, I run an illustration business.
