About Avery

As a professional filmmaker and composer, my approach to composing music is particularly from the perspective of attempting to create pieces that conjure the picturesque as much as they do an emotionally connected auditory experience.

My study in college was music theory & composition film scoring. I also became increasingly drawn to the visual/production side of filmmaking and decided to add that to my bag-o-tricks too.

For the few years since college I've worked in the the film & television industry full-time as a filmmaker or composer. Presently, I reside in New York and I have a great network of Emmy award winning filmmakers, musicians, and audio engineers.

Unique traits: I can pat my head, rub my stomach, walk, and chew gum all at the same time.
