Hi, I'm Dina! I'm an actor based in Orlando, Florida (the house of the Mouse) who travels all over for projects. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where my love for acting and performing started at a young age. Being daughter to a mother born in Bethlehem and a father born in Nazareth, I am 100% Middle Eastern and proudly speak fluent Arabic. I used to put on variety shows and plays for my parents with my little brother, Jack. In my senior year of high school, I was part of a theatre production class where I had the opportunity to work on all aspects of putting on a play. I ended up winning the best actress award in my school for my portrayal of Renfield, the crazed lunatic asylum inmate (usually played by a man), in Dracula. I still treasure this moment as being one of the most memorable in my life.
I am passionate about traveling and have had the opportunity to visit many amazing places including three of the wonders of the world: Petra, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Taj Mahal. I am petite at 5'2'' and people love saying things to me like: "You're so little!" "You're like a mini person!" "That ____ is bigger than you!" "Where do you put all that food!"
I am what they call in the acting world ethnically ambiguous, which means I can portray many different cultures/ethnicities including: Middle Eastern (of course), East Indian, Native American, Jewish, New Yorker, Italian, Spanish, South American, and many more. I love diving in and studying various cultures and accents in order to truthfully represent a character.
Although Film/TV are my focus, I also love theatre and improv and believe they all make me a better actor. I am proud to be a filmmaker and look forward to creating more of my own content. I am a co-founder of two productions companies: TN Productions and Messages Productions. My most recent short film, Sasha & Clark, is currently making its rounds on the film festival circuit.
Let's create together!
