Hi, I'm Dina!
I'm an actor, voice actor, filmmaker, model, improvisor, and comedian...whew! I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where my love for acting and performing started at a young age. Being daughter to a mother born in Bethlehem and a father from Nazareth, I am 100% Middle Eastern and proudly speak fluent Arabic. I used to put on variety shows and plays for my parents with my little brother, Jack. In my senior year of high school, I was part of a theatre production class where I had the opportunity to work on all aspects of putting on a play. I ended up winning the Best Actress award in my school for my portrayal of Renfield, the crazed lunatic asylum inmate (usually played by a man), in Dracula. I still treasure this moment as being one of the most memorable in my life.
I am passionate about traveling and have had the opportunity to visit many amazing places including some of the wonders of the world: Petra, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Taj Mahal. I am petite at 5'2'' and people love saying things to me like: "You're so little!" "You're like a mini person!" "That ____ is bigger than you!" "Where do you put all that food!"
I am what they call in the acting world "ethnically ambiguous", which means I can portray many different cultures/ethnicities including: Middle Eastern (of course), East Indian, Native American, Jewish, New Yorker, Italian, Spanish, South American, and many more. I love diving in and studying various cultures and accents in order to truthfully represent a character.
In 2015, in an effort to start creating opportunities for myself and my fellow actors, I started making my own films. Having a story idea and seeing it come to life is truly a magical experience. My production company is called TN Productions, find us on FB and IG @filmsbytnproductions. Create what you want to be a part of.
And let's create together!
Unique traits: Speak fluent Arabic, advanced Pilates, belly/pole/burlesque dancing, improvisor, stand-up comedian.
