About Drew

Drew Hellmich was born in the south suburbs of Chicago. He is a writer and producer known for Parasite in the Park. His passion for writing and filmmaking began in his childhood when he made many short films with his brothers, cousins, and friends using the family video camera. In 2018, Drew launched "Screenplay Junkie," a podcast that discusses original drafts of screenplays and published short stories to their produced film versions.
