Elisa Menchicchi
Born in Rome in 1982
Graduated at the School for Interpreters and Translators (SSML) in Rome in 2004.
She began her professional career after graduating at the two-year-acting-school "Teatro Azione" in Rome in 2006 and she started to work with directors such as Valentino Villa (with which she performed Harold Pinter’s, Dorothy Parker’s and Neil Simon’s plays), Alfonso Santagata, Massimo Belli and Giancarlo Fares.
In 2008 she met ricci/forte company. After the first play “100% Furioso” in 2008, she worked with the company until 2014 as a performer and director assistant. Among the plays, “Some disordered christmas interior geometries” produced in 2011 by Alda Fendi Foundation and “Wunderkammer soap # 7_ The Massacre of Paris”. Since 2006 she continued her training by following workshops led by Gabriella Grispino (Berlin) on the acting, Raffaella Giordano (sosta palmizi), Beatrice Libonati (Pina Bausch dancer), Monica Vannucchi, Barbara Altissimo,Virgilio Sieni and Jacqueline Bulnes (soloist from Martha Graham company) for contemporary dance and theatre dance. Alongside she has been studying the Linklater vocal technique, the techniques of narrative theater and theatrical biomechanics.
Since 2013 she is main character in “On the Revolutionary Road”, a theatre reduction from the novel “Revolutionary Road” by Richard Yates.
Since 2013 she perfoms in the monologue [h]elle (based on the Electra's myth) that she wrote and directed.
In 2014 she was in the theatre dance project “Moon Motel” directed by Jacqueline Bulnes
She took part in various short films and videos.
In 2010 she attended in the intensive workshop "Audition", with casting directors and tv directors.
in 2011 she took part in the italian tv series "Provaci ancora, prof 4" (Endemol).
Since 2007 she carries on her own dramaturgy with the monologue "The land of Punt" and the reading jazz "Jazz Tellarz", based on life of Miles Davis and Billie Holiday where she performed with Claudio Santamaria, Francesco Montanari and Francesca Inaudi.

Si diploma presso "Teatro Azione" a Roma nel 2006.
In teatro lavora con registi come Valentino Villa, Alfonso Santagata, Massimo Belli, Giancarlo Fares, Roberto Biselli, Stefano Ricci, Romeo Castellucci.
Incontra nel 2008 la compagnia ricci/forte con cui lavora fino al 2013 come performer e assistente alla regia.
Studia danza contemporanea con Raffaella Giordano, Beatrice Libonati, Monica Vannucchi, Barbara Altissimo, Jacqueline Bulnes. Studia a lungo la tecnica vocale Linklater, la biomeccanica, il teatro civile. Si forma con registi e artisti come Emiliano Bronzino, Daria Deflorian.
Nel 2013 partecipa al Fringe Festival di Roma con “[H]elle” riscrittura del mito di Elettra (da lei scritto, diretto e interpretato). Nel 2014 partecipa al Fringe Festival di Torino con “Moon Motel”, progetto di teatro danza diretto da Jacqueline Bulnes. Dal 2014 è coprotagonista di “On the Revolutionary Road” dal romanzo di Richard Yates, diretto da Samuele Chiovoloni.
