Actor, producer and director in London, England

About Emily

I am an Award Winning Actress and Filmmaker. Originally from Devon, I now live in London.

My love for acting began at an early age. My first break in feature films, came at just twelve-years-old, doing the voice-over as Camille’s sister in the James Bond - Quantum of Solace movie. My acting film and tv credits include the Oscar nominated feature film Jane Eyre and BBC’s hospital drama, Casualty.

At 18 years of age, I made my directorial debut with the short film, Dead Wrong, which received an exclusive screening at the Lee Strasberg Institute.

I then went on to produce The Velvet Abstract, an environmental short produced on six continents, where I attached, Golden Globe Nominee, Tobias Menzies as the narrator and the world-renowned Composer, Jean-Pascal Beintus (Rogue One, The Danish Girl, Harry Potter, The Imitation Game). The Velvet Abstract has had and continues to have a very successful festival journey.

I was cast to play the lead, Aleisha in The Inuring, an anti-bullying drama where I also took on the role of producer. I have been awarded 4 Best Actress Awards and a Best Producer Award so far.

I followed Dead Wrong with directing and writing, my award winning psychological thriller Run Rabbit. Since its release to the festival circuit in late October 2017, it has already won over 7 awards including best overall film and I have won Best Actress twice.

2018 has proven to be a very busy year. I have just finished Beautified, my third short film as writer and director. Beautified has just joined the festival circuit and finished filming the feature film thriller, Just 13 where I play the lead actress.

I have now been cast to play the lead in another feature film which will be shot later this year.

When writing and directing, I focus on female-centric stories, casting strong female roles.
