Born in Slinger, Wisconsin, Eric began writing at the age of 6 with stories about his pet mouse. In high school, he shot his first short films and received scholarships for writing. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in Poetry, Eric set out on the world solo-backpacking through 26 countries and living in Yellowstone National Park. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2017, he has written four feature-length screenplays and a novel. Currently, Eric co-writes, co-directs and co-stars in the Ruff and Tug Web-Series, leads the Brooklyn Comedy Screenwriters’ Group, and acts in short films. His works have been second rounders at the Austin Film Festival and received Top 100 at the TableReadMyScreenplay competition.
