A drama that I intend to speak out to the socially rejected ( And those who appreciate the traditional stylings of most Slasher films. Only less comical.)
(LOCALS ONLY PLEASE.)
Synopsis: Like always, no one notices Fred Locus (Age: 16) stealing a gun from the big 5 sporting goods store. He feels victimized by piers who make him feel weak and unable to defend himself. Therefore, he goes to a meadow on an abandoned property to practice with it. After assuming there were people who heard his gunshots, he takes off. While running out of the area, he finds an old melancholic scarecrow Doll on the cold ground. For some reason he becomes attached to it and takes it home. He then has nightmares the following night describing the death of a little girl and himself. He goes to see a counselor to help him make sense of these disturbing nightmares that Fred feels were actual events that he forgot in his life. Daniel Bradbury (The counselor) helps him see the error in this possibility and than tries to help with the problems that led him to his expulsion from school.
After the session, he starts to feel that there is hope for redemption in his life. He takes a long walk around town until the sun sets. He found himself in the parking lot of a Methodist church where he accidentally falls asleep. Even though the bad dreams went away. Reality was about to become the nightmare. A man-sized Demonic Scarecrow, baring a harvesting Sickle attacks Fred after he had awoken. He manages to get away by just merely suffering a shoulder wound. His step-mother (Joyce) takes him to the hospital. After being stitched he arms himself with the gun he stole, thinking this was one of his enemies from school. After shooting through this thing during another occurrence, he was convinced it was not. A life and death game of cat and mouse initiates. He attempts to get help, but there is no use. He tries to figure this out on his own. Will he find a way to defeat his enemy or die trying?
I haven't re-drafted the script in awhile. But once I do, I will be ready to shoot. I could use all the help I could get on this! :)
Applied. Hope to hear from ya. Good luck!
