Screenwriter seeks agent - a job post by Jonathan Peace

About the job

My name is Jonathan Peace and as the subject title states I am seeking representation for my screenwriting career. I have several completed scripts but the first one I would like you to consider is a horror called Creedmore.

Logline:When Creedmore hospital is besieged by flesh hungry mutants on Halloween, reluctant mum-to-be Maddie, armed with a baseball bat and an attitude, joins a group of bizzarre characters including Yummy-Mummy, Pirate Girl and Samurai Jane in a desperate fight for survival.

Written in a non-linear tongue-through-cheek Grindhouse style, this horror comedy is the first in a planned trilogy. Until recently this was optioned with Causeway Pictures at their New York division created when they joined forces with Spygirl Pictures. I've been told that at one stage Bruce Campbell and Eileen Dietz both showed interest in the project but were waiting for finance to be secured before committing. Unfortunately after two years during which the script went to Cannes, Berlin and AFM festivals, the producer at Causeway NY recently walked away, choosing to pursue other creative avenues. Causeway Pictures have now confirmed I can start shopping the script once again as their own slate is too full to add this.

This time I would like someone in my corner who can look out for my interests.

I primarily write horror scripts but mixed with other genres. Deadline (AKA The Fan) is a thriller/slasher movie while Gunsmoke & Glory is an action-adventure western with horror elements. I am currently writing a new script called Dogging which is a new take on the werewolf myth and mixes in the British sex-fetish taboo game of the same name. I have plans for many projects over the coming years with a set schedule in place to write 6 scripts a year.

I have two screen credits to date having written The Rift 2012 for Vantis Pictures and The Writer for Freezeframe Productions. Both of these can be found on their websites and Youtube. I have also been published as a novel writer having been commissioned by Mantic Games to write a fantasy tie in novel to their tabletop wargame Kings Of War. The book, Bloodstone Of Cerillion is available as a digital download as well as paperback/hardback from Amazon. I have also written fiction and background for a variety of tabletop games companies.
