About the job
A growing collection of independent, creative-minded individuals are currently looking to film an original, two-part Pilot for "The Blockade Runner," a scifi/drama (think Firefly meets a live action Star Wars) that we want to put out online for free, and then use the exposure to either fund a kickstarter or pitch the idea to a studio. Our main goal is to provide collaborative experience, new connections within the film industry, and to add a serious credit to any resume/reel.The scripts are already written and we're in the early stages of organizing a film crew, including in talks to have a director fly in from California, however we could always use more help to make this look as professional as possible. We will mostly likely be double-booking a film crew for added redundancy and ease of scheduling, so if you do not see an opening that you are looking for, please feel free to contact directly. A Weapon's Master will be on site for certain scenes to provide quality prop weapons, training and guidance to our actors and staff. Also currently in talks to get rewrites/consults from established writers in the ISA.
We will be looking to officially hold auditions in June, and begin filming in August.
Experience recommended, but not required! We will adjust schedules and roles to fit your need.
