Singers or Singer-Songwriters or Duos or Trios or Bands who are ready to perform on a national/international stage, and who have the talent, passion and confidence to sing, perform, record and release a hit song. Strong, natural vocal ability, musicianship, stage presence and experience performing and recording. 

CTV Unveils THE LAUNCH, A New Six-Part Original Music Series and International TV Format Casting for the Next Big Breakout Artists. In every episode we see the inner workings of the music industry. The ultimate-goal is to create a HIT but in a never-before seen way. Lifting the lid on the intimate workings of how today's popular songs are made - and creating a hit song in just 48 HOURS. THE LAUNCH is a journey from the song to the singer to the music style and the ultimate final release. Scott Borchetta, a Celebrity Guest Artist and a Music Industry Expert, have set themselves the ultimate challenge: to discover unsigned Talent, match them with an Original Song and create the Next Big Hit ... in just 48 HOURS.

Artists/Bands must be eligible to sign a recording option agreement.

Union members will need to sign an appearance release and waiver if selected.

Musical talent ages 13 and up. All genres. All ethnicities.

Hotel, accommodation, transportation and per diem provided for all those selected outside of Toronto and the greater Toronto area. Selecting 30 artists/groups. 5 artists/groups per episode x 6 episodes. (Exact # of artists/groups per episode - TBC) Potential for additional option agreements to be presented to any artists selected for the show and/or in the online casting portal.
