I am seeking an experienced producer to help develop Slaughterville - a dark feature length thriller/horror with a Ben Wheatley-esq surreal quality to it. The script is complete and available on request.
Log-line: Welcome to Haydon...You'll be dying to stay!
Here's the plot: A would-be serial killer picks a remote Northumberland village at random in the attempt to beat the record for murders by a single serial killer. On arriving in Haydon he finds that it seems to be stuck in the 1970s - no one talks of anything modern, mobile phones don't work, use tapes and vinyl records, fashion etc. The villagers are an eclectic bunch, but seem nice enough, but when the killings start they (and what seems Haydon itself) fight back with a vengeance. It then becomes a battle between serial killer and Haydon. It is a violent tale with plenty of dark humour thrown in. I can send you the script if this is a project that you might be interested in.
About me: I have 7 published novels, including the best-seller, Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre, which Slaughterville is based on. Recent acting roles include American Assassin (15th Sept cinema release), The More You Ignore Me (late 2017 cinema release), The Hippopotamus (in cinemas now), Guest iin London (in cinemas now), Wolfblood (CBBC last two seasons) and Judge Rinder's Crime Stories (ITV, aired 9th June).
