Looking for a partner screenwriter in the immediate Spokane, WA area to help me with my first television series pilot script. I am looking to introduce a spin-off series of the Wonder Years to Twentieth Century Fox by writing a featurette and a pilot episode and presenting it to them... I don't intend to profit from this as I really would like the series to happen and don't yet have permissions.
This series is based upon the childhood of Madison Arnold, the autistic daughter of Kevin and Winnie. It will be narrated is a similar fashion as the original series, but by an adult Madison (I'm thinking, Jane Lynch)... Fred Savage and Danica McKellar would both need to sign on if this show was to happen, so it needs to be good.

I would be very surprised if they would read your script. It isn't a good idea to mess with a show and characters owned by someone else. Even if they did read it, the idea is not strong enough to resurrect a hit show from the past. Drop The Wonder Years connection, and write a story with original characters.
