About the job
I need lighting and compression advice. I want to shoot professional quality HD video self tape auditions using an iPhone 6 Plus and a lav mic. I have a professional background and a light package but my self tapes still look amateurish.

Jeff - Use Rode Smart Lav+ / Ipad-Pro (24fps or 4k with "Just Shoot Me" - App) mounted in ipad stand bracket - lens must be at or just above eye level. With the bracket you can tilt up down side side. Strict frame - upper mid chest to just (just) above head. Light direct at your face - eyes - slight above head pointing down. Be still - remember close up shots are very small movements. The power of self tape comes not from what you say - but how you react to what is said.
