Project Title: Free Your Mind...Your Ass Will Follow
Logline:
An examination of how anti-“black” bias still drives popular culture and political discourse despite the push toward greater diversity and the need for different strategies to institute real, positive and lasting change.
Current Status:
In development on a Documentary Feature. In the process of applying for funding support. Project budgeted at $850.000.00. The Project Development Phase, in addition to researching the
subject matter, includes interviewing and selecting potential
consultants, participants to drive the narrative, identifying and
selecting all production personnel. To secure the balance of necessary production funds, a fundraising video will be created to begin the process of solicitation of production funding to foundations, corporate entities, public and private sources as well as crowdfunding.
Need to identify Key Creative Personnel to include as part of the proposal process.
Open to all experienced creative personnel, but GMNW is committed to providing increased opportunities for African American creatives and Persons of Color.
