About the job
Seeking producers and executives for a film script of mine that I’ve submitted to several film festivals, including Shore Scripts, Let’s Make It!, Stage32 logline, JumpStart, The Script Lab, and several others. It’s a darkly comic, satirical action-thriller set during COVID-19 where a man who lost his job, his sanity, and his son goes on a killing spree to make a point about a crippling world he sees can’t be fixed. Unfortunately, the script’s submission hasn’t been quite as successful due to the controversial nature of the narrative but if it can be done underground and improvise a few things, the better. This is a story so many people can relate to. It’s “Natural Born Killers” meets “Falling Down” and to some extent “Joker” and “Taxi Driver” in its gritty take on white male rage. I want to make it on the cheap (less than $7.5 million), filmed preferably in an area in the U.S. or Canada with strong tax incentives and a safe environment despite the script requiring scenes involving heavy shootouts and attacks on buildings, and some big names to help get the project up-and-running.
