The IIPG is the most important professional association for professional independent film makers and producers, and the fastest growing one on the planet. The IIPG sets standards & practices for independent film production, dialogs with government & regulatory agencies, and works to promote the interests of the independent producing sector.

We are seeking Awards Assistants for the 2023 Annual Independent Producers Guild Awards. Your tasks will include some research, some outreach, and assisting the Awards Director and Awards Coordinator in their tasks of vetting and preparing submitted films for IIPG Member and Audience voting. You may have the opportunity to work on the live event itself, in 2023.

YOU have some experience in film festivals, you love film and film makers, want to help independent film get the attention it deserves, and love to network with industry at all levels. YOU know the value of networking and expanding contacts across the industry.

This is a volunteer position for the non-profit International Independent Producers Guild, and will be paid during the production of the awards show itself, in the fall of 2023. Upon an agreed number of tasks completed, you will receive General Membership and then Full Membership in the Guild.

Skills Required: Excellent verbal & written communication; Social Media savvy - especially Instagram, FB & Twitter; knowledge of current mainstream and indie film festivals; desire to learn as much about festivals and awards programs as possible; desire to become a working professional in the film industry; most importantly a positive attitude!
