Vertical screen short drama script collection ~ (providing emotional value to consumers, High proportion of sharing Shenzhen ZhanYing Company is now launching a global script submission campaign, aiming to produce 3-5 works in North America. We particularly welcome screenwriters with a track record of hit productions or experience in online literature.   Submission Deadline: April 30, 2024   Project Overview: Initial Stage: Submit first 10 episodes and a story outline. After grading and pricing, a contract will be signed.Development Stage: Complete first 20 episodes, 20% of the script fee will be paid. Scripts will be reviewed every 20 episodes.Mid-Stage: Upon completion of first 40 episodes, 40% of the script fee will be paid.Final Stage: Submit the full script, and the remaining balance will be settled.   Script Fee: Minimum completion fee per series: $8,000, plus a 1% profit share.   Script Requirements: Language: English Episodes: 60-80.Word Count: 40,000-60,000 words.Duration: Each episode 60-120 seconds.Review Time: 3-5 working days, with weekend submissions processed on the next working day.   Preferred Genres: Urban Romance: Sweet Romance Drama,Flash marriage, Rich people fall in love with ordinary people,  Love triangles, revenge, sponsorship, power couples, witches, or substitution themes. For example:The Count of Monte Cristo (fast pace, more twists and turns), Pride and Prejudice (needs rapid advancement of misunderstandings and emotions)Crime: Fast-paced, unique settings, and clear main plotlines, including revenge crime or crime dramas.Fantasy: Fantasy romance or fantasy revenge themes.Engaging Narrative: The script must craft a captivating world that ensnares the audience from the very first minute, with each episode leaving them eagerly anticipating new developments.Pulse-Pounding Climaxes: There should be at least one plot climax every 2-3 episodes, amounting to a total of 6 to 10, ensuring viewers remain on the edge of their seats with tension and excitement. These could manifest as intense confrontations, unforeseen plot twists, or emotional peak moments.Battle of Good vs. Evil: The central storyline should revolve around the protagonist's struggle against the antagonist, with dramatic or serendipitous turns of events that seemingly put the hero on the losing side, only to have them triumph in the end, satisfying the audience.Character Arcs: The protagonist should undergo a rich emotional journey, facing setbacks and adversity, yet always bouncing back at pivotal moments, demonstrating unwavering resilience. The antagonist should be portrayed as formidable and cunning, enhancing the conflict's tension.Innovation and Wit: Innovative storytelling techniques and character designs are encouraged, along with the integration of humor elements, allowing viewers to find delight amidst the suspenseful plot.Emotional Resonance: The script should resonate emotionally with the audience, eliciting feelings of joy, sorrow, anger, or hope, fostering a deep connection between the viewers and the characters.Structure and Logic: While the storyline doesn't need to be overly logically airtight, each event and decision should primarily serve the protagonist's journey, incorporating unexpected acquisitions of assets, resources, abilities, or influence.   Submission Methods: Topic Proposal: Submit script topic and first 3-5 episodes.Custom Script: Create a script based on our provided creative brief.Pitch: Submit a complete script proposal. Script Standards: Clear storyline (Basically no story line with supporting characters).Tight narrative.Engaging opening.  Rejected Genres: Scripts with complex special effects or large-scale scenes.School or student-centric stories.Overly intricate plot twists.Fantasy cultivation or medical god themes.Anthology, multi-narrative, or multi-protagonist scripts.Politically sensitive or religiously disrespectful topics.War heroes, period dramas, comedies, light comedies, sci-fi, musicals, historical biographies, war, wuxia, or explicit content.Large-scale disaster films.   Restricted Genres: ABO, vampire, overbearing boss, or gangster themes (depending on the story content). Script Review Process: Every 20 episodes, one review will be conducted, with two script reading and revision opportunities per submission. Professional working proficiency in English.
