Seeking directors, editors and cinematographers in Boston, Massachusetts
Three fantasy short stories about folklore.
Seeking editors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
I have completed two short films, but both need editing. One will be around 15 minutes in length, and the other is likely 35 minutes. I am also shooting a TV pilot next week, and that will need a quick turn around (two days). I am seeking to find someone who has at least a year or two of film editing experience. Prefer a fellow filmmaker, but that is not a deal breaker. Also, must be professional, fairly flexible as to schedule, and a creative out of the box thinker.
Seeking cinematographers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
My better half and I are shooting our TV pilot between January 26-28, 2020. We will be doing a total of six scenes and each will be ten minutes in duration. There are two leads, along with maybe 5-10 extras per day. Six to seven locations, and this is a non-union project. Outline format, as much of this is improv - but shot list will be provided. I will also have a gaffer available to assist.

Seeking actors, key grips, directors of photography and 3 more in Long Beach, California
Hello all, This is more of a general announcement of a terrific film project I am moving forward with. I've been honing my skills producing various video productions and am ready to proceed with my first short film project. It is a fantastic story with a powerful message that also sheds light on our growing homeless problem here in the USA. It is essentially about a special relationship between a young girl and her uncle whom she lives with. Filming will mostly take place in the Long Beach, CA area. There is no set schedule at this time to begin shooting this 9-scene film of approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. I am beginning the process of building a small crew on this micro-budget project. The following is a short list of the talent I seek: - Man who looks in his late 40s to early 60s to play the uncle - Young girl who looks in her teens or early 20s to play the niece - Grip - DP - Make-up/costume artist - Art director - Producer - Editor I can also operate a camera upon finding the right DP who's open to that, thus a two camera set-up. Here is a main part of the synopsis: "The Gift" Synopsis Weary and ready to go home, Ernest finishes his last drop-off of the day before heading to the library to pick up his niece Sylvia. One of three siblings whose parents immigrated to America, Ernest has never known what it's like to have money. He is thankful for always having had a place to call home. As an Uber driver, Ernest is witness to the great divide. With each pick-up and drop-off, he encounters people driving freshly washed cars who work in towers of glistening glass and concrete. In stark contrast are those living on the fringe who carry trash bags filled with their worldly belongings and consider the gutter and trash-strewn alleys their haven. After picking up Sylvia, Ernest makes a brief detour to 6th Street. He reaches for a few dollars from his money box and approaches the same homeless man he has visited many times before. Ernest hands the homeless man the money who doesn't say a word. Satisfied, Ernest gets back in his car and drives home.Sylvia is in the kitchen cooking dinner as she usually does. Seated at the table and after saying a prayer, Ernest is eager to enjoy Sylvia's cooking. His meal is interrupted when she asks, “Why do you give money to the homeless man?” Perplexed, Ernest begins to explain the goodness of giving to the homeless. Sylvia politely waits for Ernest to finish before she repeats her question, “Why do you give money to the homeless man?” She goes on to tell Ernest that instead of giving the homeless man money, Ernest needs to ask him for something... one dollar. Questions? Please PM me or email me at email@example.com Thanks! Stephen VamVaketis
