Seeking directors in Long Beach, California
I'm looking to hire a director for a short film, to help the exec producer and cinematographer bring the project to life. We have a completed script, but want to bring a director on board to help with input for finalization of the script, and for casting as well, and then directing set (obviously). This is our first film, and can obviously not afford to pay much. So, with that said, as much as we'd like an amazing, creative, and experienced director, that's just not feasible with our available budget and production. What we are looking for, is maybe a young and/or entry-level director interested in helping execute this simple, but effective, short film. We're also willing to compensate in any other way we possibly can; exchanging services and so forth. There is a small amount of pay, on-screen and IMDb credit, and paid meals. So we would like someone with hopefully SOME experience, but we're open to anyone. What's most important, is a creative eye, very team friendly, and willingness to work with some visuals we already have in mind for certain scenes. If you're interested, feel free to email, and we can maybe discuss the project a bit and what we're looking for!
