The story has a richness to it that having worked in ABQ for a month, it is easy to grasp what their lives are like. The characters and plot are well laid out, the humor is there, and a relatability to the Walkers comes through as well. The market for this material seems strong. There are an increasing amount of inter-racial families now, each bringing a piece of their heritage to the table. This is a wonderful project, best served by having a seasoned show-runner on board. I am seeking two screenwriter

A deaf screenwriter is seeking two hearing screenwriters, one of whom knows sign language, to collaborate on a feature film. I have completed two other projects. I am writing a third project and the team will work together on it to create a sci-fi thriller titled "The Sound of Eyes." I have a logline, but the team will work on developing a synopsis, and I'll share my clear vision and story with them. The story will incorporate elements similar to "Point of No Return" in 1993 and "The Professional" in 1994, where a hearing-impaired man is coerced into receiving implant technology eyes to protect him as an assassin kills others while conflicting with a kid-hearing girl who needs him for being targeted for millions of dollars. There is no pay but will find funds to support us. Logline: When they sentenced a hearing-impaired man for a murder he didn't commit, someone forced him to take tech eyes to become an assassin and protect a little girl. Experience with sci-fi is required. If you have previously written a script, it is a plus. Develop knowledge of deaf prescriptions and hearing prescriptions for each of the roles. One of you who knows sign language is a plus, but not required. If interested, will be asked to join Zoom for questions and interviews and a sign language interpreter will be provided.
