Includes short film script project trial to test if we gel well, first.I'm looking for someone I click with who has a strong education (like me) in writing, and a storytelling talent (like me) and has worked on their craft (like me). Or if they don't have some of those things, are happy for me to take the lead role. Someone who can collab and stick to what they say. A good attitude. We'll have a contract for if things go wrong either of us or both of us can take and run with what we've worked on. But ideally we brainstorm and ideate together, write the treatment together, then write the first four eps together. Then the whole point of the collab is to team up with pitching and promoting and networking. Here's the synopsis I have in my head for the project: about two screenwriters who agreed in a contract that if they broke up neither could use what they wrote together without written permission from the other. But I'd like to do something more with that idea. But their project has a life of its own?

OR, THE ADVENTURES OF A BASTARD, a Musical Comedy of Manners adapted from Henry Fielding's classic mid-18th century (ca. 1745) novel, TOM JONES, is in the process of receiving an entirely new musical score which should be completed by April of 2024. The libretto (book & lyrics) which tells the tale of a disenfranchised young man seeking his proper place in society, is currently being revised from a draft originally copyrighted in 1971.This immersive version resets the satirical romantic tale in the style of a late 18th century (1790s) theatrical performance--there is no "fourth wall" between the actors onstage and the audience with a select number of ticket buyers being invited to attend in period costume. The scenery and lighting will be designed in a manner consistent with the concept, but using 21st century technology.This is a picaresque with a lot of characters, involving frequent and rapid changes in costumes and wigs, can be performed by a relatively moderate cast of versatile actor-singer-dancers. The Actor's Equity "Favored Nations" Agreement permits producers to pay them all the same basic minimum salary, though featured players should receive additional compensation on the back end. This is not paid. I am looking for an ambitious person who likes small budgets and to develop ideas. The premise is a squatter's paradise and the entanglements that come from this kind of community. Do you have an interest in creating a variety of characters who are very different from who you and I are? I have a real life setting that I think has great potential. Again, this is at the level of let's see if we can create something for fun, yet with the intention to complete it. The characters will be generally off the radar, anti establishment types. Since this is just developing, there is no location requirement. I'm open to ideas and working with good people.
