THE CURMUDGEON is an exciting Thriller/Suspense film with the added ingredients of drama, humor and action from the original screenplay THE CURMUDGEON written by Philip David Lee. THE CURMUDGEON is a modern day FALLING DOWN combined with questions about the loss of common sense, fairness and logic in today’s ever increasing confusing direction of the modern world in which we live. A-List talent extremely interested in lead role. Logline: Grady Spencer is a 60 year old isolated man who hates everything and lives on a fixed income until he comes across a young woman, Ava, being harassed by a menacing thug. Grady reluctantly intervenes and saves Ava only to later find out that the thug is part of a four man mercenary team hired to retrieve a flash drive that Ava’s murdered boss has given to her. Production budget: We are seeking $1.5M from one or multiple investors. As per our PPM: The Curmudgeon LLC will set up an escrow account to hold Investor funds. The money stays in the escrow account until The Curmudgeon LLC raises the minimum necessary to produce the film. If The Curmudgeon LLC cannot raise sufficient money, the funds in escrow are returned to the investors. A Completion Bond will be obtained. Return on Investment: The Curmudgeon LLC is offering investors 150% return on their initial investment and 50% of net profits.
