Seeking Production Crew/Team for Short Film

Seeking cinematographers, crew, assistant directors and 5 more in Los Angeles, California, Santa Cruz, California and San Francisco, California

Currently looking for a production team and crew members that want to be a part of THE MAN EATER short film.  Previously we had a film crew attached to the project, but after several set backs, we decided to go with another team.  Currently we have all set locations, and all we need is a film crew and a lead actress (preferably a big name).  We are going to do a crowdfunder and we have strategized already how we are going to go about it.  Pay is negotiable, but keep in mind that this is a low budget short film and we are primarily going to be funded through Crowdfunding.  Travel will be covered, as well as food and lodging.  The goal is to get this project in  to film festivals and eventually made into a feature.    Our hope is that, if successful, the same crew will be still attached for any future projects regarding THE MAN EATER.   LOGLINE: “At the end of her rope, a desperate woman seeks psychiatric help to help her cope being related to her serial killer brother, whose sinister relationship may have left more than painful memories, and is also on the run…” Premise:  Janice, who appears on the surface to be emotionally broken woman, seeks psychological help from a psychotherapist.  Throughout her session, Janice reveals her disturbing upbringing and her relationship with her brother, Devon Fallon.  Fallon, also known as “The Man Eater” has killed a score of people and is believed to be on the run.  Janice describes her relationship with Devon and goes into detail about history of his mental illness that runs in her family.  The psychotherapist helps her dig deeper in her unconscious mind by using hypnotherapy.  While under her hypnotic state, Janice reveals she was last with Devon right before he supposedly went on the run. She relives that day, and she believes Devin was forcing her to flee with him.

Seeking music composers in New York City, New York

CONTEMPORARY COUNTRY/POP SONGS with Male Vocals are needed for an (up to) $1,000, Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Supervisor placement in a TV Series on a NEW streaming channel that looks like it's going to be a hit. They’re looking for Up-Tempo Songs that could fit in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references “Burning Man” by Dierks Bentley ft. Brothers Osborne “Woman, Amen” by Dierks Bentley Please submit top-notch Songs with a Country sound and style similar to the referenced acts and others in their ballpark. Be sure your submissions have a Contemporary Country Song structure, but a classic Country sound. Genre-appropriate, acoustic guitar-driven instrumentation is a great place to start, and adding a hint of Pop-leaning production/arrangement could give you an added "contemporary" edge for this pitch! Because this song is likely needed for a “background source placement,” the lyric theme isn’t critically important, but you’d still be smart to stick to themes that are common in the Country genre. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Broadcast Quality is needed. The estimated license fee for this placement is (up to) $1,000, depending on the ultimate use. This is a Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Copyright and Master Recording, plus you’ll also get 100% of the Master License Fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Copyright and Master Recording to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Songs as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT), on Friday, November 16th, 2018.  Email INFO@WENTCO.TV

Instrumental (Multiple Genres)

Seeking music composers in London, England, Birmingham, United Kingdom, Miami, Florida and 2 more

TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an established West Coast-based Music Library with a very solid track record of TV and Film placements. This company ran a lot of listings with TAXI about 10 years ago and placed a bunch of music from our members. They haven’t run listing with TAXI in a while, so chances are you don’t have any material in their catalog yet, and they pay an Upfront Fee of $50 per track to Composers! LIGHT and/or HEAVY Tension cues will be considered. They need a bunch of contemporary-sounding Tension Cues in a variety of tempos and styles. Please listen to the references below to get a general idea of what they need: RHOC: (Season 13, Episode 12) (From 0:17 – 0:34) Black Ink Crew (From 1:58 – 2:45) RHOC: (Season 13, Episode 7) (From 0:00 – 0:22) Please send them Instrumental Cues that use Electronic and/or Orchestral Instrumentation to evoke emotions like tension, suspense, danger, distress, anticipation, etc. Build your Cue around a central melodic theme that would support tension-filled scenes in Reality TV, while adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation as it progresses to create dynamics, interest, and forward momentum. Please avoid anything that sounds busy, as it could potentially interfere with dialogue. Your submissions should be 2 minutes long (give or take), with Non-Faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings. Please Do NOT copy the referenced pieces in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed. This Company pays $50 per Instrumental Cue for an EXCLUSIVE deal in which they get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share. When placements generate sync fees over $1,000, additional income will be paid to the composer. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. Please send as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT), on Monday, November 26th, 2018.  Email INFO@WENTCO.TV

Christmas / Holiday

Seeking music composers in New York City, New York

ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by a super well-connected Publisher for a wide range of Film, TV, and Commercial placements. They’re looking for Songs in All-Tempos that could fall in a pretty wide range of styles, including but definitely not limited to the examples referenced below: “Snowman” By Sia “Snowed In” By Chance The Rapper & Jeremih “Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande NOTE: Songs can be in just about any current, modern, commercially viable genre: Singer/Songwriter, R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Country, Hip-Hop, EDM, etc., etc., as long as it instantly puts listeners in the Christmas/Holiday spirit. Please submit Original Christmas Songs that deliver a Christmas sound, style, and tone that’s in the general wheelhouse of the references above. Instrumentation can vary from a simple acoustic/vocal performance to a fuller production, and should utilize instruments you’d commonly hear in Christmas music, such as (but not limited to) sleigh bells, hand bells, chimes, etc. Our observation is that if you add too many of those Christmas-y sounds, it might be overbearing. Add them tastefully! Be sure to have a vocal performance that’s well-performed from start to finish.  Lyrics that are more in the holiday season ballpark will probably work better than religious songs, considering the context of the references. Please do NOT copy the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed. This company offers an EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 deal, with a 3-year reversion. If they don’t get your song used during that term, you can get your rights back. You’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. Since this company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed to any other Libraries or Catalogs. You must own or control your Master and Copyright. Please submit as many Songs as you’d like online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Time permitting; somebody from the Publishing Company may screen some or all of the submissions. All submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT), on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018.  Email INFO@WENTCO.TV
