About Federico

I'm an Acting Teacher, Actor, Playwright, Theatre Director, Transmedia Producer and Producer now living and working between Athens and Bogota.

Recently I've started producing transmedia projects. At the moment I'm working in a project called "When Bogota had Streetcars" our first product is a documentary being shoot at the moment. Next is an animated short-film made in virtual cinematography.

I've performed in many stage productions in Colombia, France, Italy, Germany, England, Bulgaria and Greece and at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. I'm also a Founder member of “Vlaklist Theatre”. I've acted in several TV series in Greece and in Colombia including the Colombian Historical Hit La Seleccion in the character of Julio Cesar the support role. Previously i worked in cinema and tv in Greece most notably in “Kariotakis”.

I've directed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare, “The Island” and "The Island: Reloaded" written by me for the “Vlaklist Theatre” and was the third eye for the clown show, "Boxette: l’histoire d’un champion" by the international clown company ‘The Gazpacho Brothers’.

As a playwright I've co-authored “Potato: A Show That Will Save The World”, author in "The Theatre Case", "The Island" & The Island: Reloaded" all of them already produced. My last play "A Special Night" its being negotiated at the moment.

I'm a Acting teacher in the drama school “ARCHI” (Nelly Karra) since 2008 and have given workshops in the drama school “Theatre of Changes” (Θεατρο των Αλλαγων) and other studios in Athens, Europe, Latin America and in Colombia in the National Theatre and Varasanta.

I studied in the Jaques Lecoq School and with Philippe Gaulier in Paris, with the Footsbarn Theatre in France and Complicite in London. I've also trained in the Grotowsky Movement method. Recently I've studied the Stella Adler method with Ron Burrus.
