Currently senior researcher at Laval University (Quebec City) in the Geomatics Department. Director of the Exploration of Media Immersion for Rehabilitation (EMIR) Laboratory. I produce, design, develop and implement multimedia and new media installations within interactive and immersive environments. Also I am heading up the development of a new opera based on my own science fiction writing (see below). I'm also CEO of Transforma Garments inc. (www.facebook.com/transformagarments), a fashion design company selling transformative garments. Finally, I am writing an extensive science fiction novel - actually, a series of interconnected novels that deal with the same story of the far future of humanity (www.facebook.com/idochronicles) - for which I have secured a publisher. I am also part of a team developing a participatory opera based on this opus. On the lookout for collaborators/partners in a range of roles - acting, choreography, scenarios and scriptwriting, music composition, animation, video, 3D graphics, sound design, costume design, etc.
Unique traits: An eclectic creative working outside media channels
Pinnacle - A One Act Opera Sci-fi A one act, participative opera based on my own science fiction opus currently under development, dealing with a young woman in a distant future whose body is undergoing a series of transformations that will result in her emergence as non-human, and the intolerance she encounters as a result. The main character is loosely based on the Greek mythic figure of Hermione. The opera under development will permit public participation during the staging. The first public presentation is scheduled for June 23, 2017.
