Georgina Elizabeth Okon grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and Essex, England.
She moved from the UK to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, CA in order to realize her dream.
She was featured as "Jenny" in a production of "Death of a Salesman" directed by "Marc Masterson" at South
Coast Repertory Theatre, Costa Mesa, CA--- the first play kicking off their
50th Anniversary celebration, as well as in roles in "To Be or Not" at Actors Art Theatre
and "The Changeling" at Long Beach Playhouse.
One of her favorite roles was Matilda from "The Clean House" which she
performed in the SCR showcase after completing their Professional
Actors Training Program. Other roles have included The Snake in "The Little
Prince" and Esther in "Amazing Grace".
She was cast in two short films--- “JOY" directed by "Solomon Onita Jr", was shortlisted for the "HBO" short film competition and screened at the
"American Black Film Festival, BlackStarFest, LA Shorts International
Film Festival---and "Born in Battle" directed by "Yangzom Brauen" which was screened at the Downtown
Independent Movie Theater in Los Angeles.
