Guglielmo Sandullo

Born and raised in Italy, Guglielmo studied Cinema and Art Studies at "La sapienza University of Rome". He was inspired by the images of artists like Vittorio Storaro, Robbie Muller, Conrad L. Hall and Luca Bigazzi.
He started his career as 2nd AC at Cinecittà studios, working on multiple projects, from feature film to ducumentaries and tv shows. Simultaneously he started studying Visual Effects and Digital Effects, working as a freelancer for some of the major TV companies in Italy. While he was improving his skills directly on set he attempt the Four-Week Filmmaking Workshop at New York Film Academy in Florence. Piero Basso has been his camera and lighting instructor and thanks to him he understand that cinematography should be his ultimate pursuit. During those four weeks he direct 4 short film and he worked on numerous other project as director of photography and camera operator (all of them shot in 16mm).
One of these short movie titled Short Story About Love received 2 nominations -Best Drama and Best Score - at the National Student Film Festival, Screentest 2011.
After this important experience he decided to start his career in the movie industry.

He moved to Reading (UK) and shot as DoP multiple projects such as short movies and music video.
After almost one year in Uk he moved back to Italy where he's still based and he's working as a freelancer cinematographer, steadicam operator and vfx artist.
