About Gwynita

Gwynita D. Leggington is a published author, screenwriter, poet and aspiring actor, residing in Houston, Texas. Since the age of 10, Gwynita has written a variety of short stories, plays, articles, poetry and interesting Web content for the world to see.

Gwynita has a strong interest in creating and developing unique, compassionate, heart-felt content that will uplift, encourage, inspire and touch one's heart and soul. Her first screenplay entitled "House of Praise," is a faith-based drama, which focuses on real-life obstacles that the protagonist faces, as she sets out to become the first female preacher in her family.

Gwynita holds a bachelor's degree in communications (minor in psychology), as well as a master's degree in counseling. In addition, she has completed two years of doctoral coursework in educational psychology.

Unique traits: I love to make people laugh. I'm also a computer geek. I absolutely love music and I enjoy writing songs. I learned to play the clarinet, flute and piano, at a young age.
