Pre-Pro Script Development

Contest Info

Pre-Pro is a first of its kind festival - and that is not hyperbole. Utilizing the color scheme established by the WGA, we are going to take your script from White to Yellow!

Pre-Pro is designed to teach emerging screenwriters how the pre-production process works by receiving multiple rounds of studio level notes.

EACH ROUND OF FEEDBACK IS RETURNED WITHIN TWO WEEKS!

How does the process work? Submit your script by the Greenlit deadline. This is the White version. You'll receive actionable and constructive, studio level feedback. You are now ready to draft the Blue version. You may submit the Blue version for 50% off the submission fee. Now, you'll receive studio level notes on the Blue version. You are now ready to draft the Pink version. You may submit the Pink version for 75% off the submission fee. You'll then receive studio level notes on the Pink version. You are now ready to draft the Yellow version, and the Yellow draft submission is free!

A short FAQ:

Do I have to submit all four drafts to be considered for a placement?

Not at all, all submissions are eligible for a placement, although applying the notes is highly encouraged. It's also possible to skip levels. You may receive a response after your first submission that this is Yellow draft!

Do I need to submit drafts with blue, pink and yellow pages?

No, but you might put in the header blue, pink or yellow draft. That's industry standard.

What if I disagree with a note, and don't want to apply it, will I be disqualified?

No, we want to help you write the script that you want to write. Many of the notes will be written in the form of a suggestion.

How do I resubmit a draft?

You'll receive a coupon code with re-submission instructions, along with your feedback.

Who are your readers?

All of our readers have five plus years of industry experience, outside of providing coverage.

Do you us AI for feedback?

Absolutely not!

If I submit all four drafts, how much will I end up paying?

$87.50 for a feature. $70, for short. Reminder, you are not required to submit all four drafts and you may also be invited to skip levels.

I have a few more questions.

Great! Shoot us an email. It's in the bio.
