Dan Scheinkman is the Head of Scripted Content at Kickstart Entertainment, the production company led by veteran Producer Jason Netter. Kickstart is the creative force behind major features including WANTED, SWEETWATER, BOUNTY KILLER, and A COUNTRY CALLED HOME. On the TV side, Kickstart is currently producing "Preacher" for AMC, the upcoming "The Boys" for Amazon Studios, and a children's animated show on Netflix.
Kickstart has a history with comics and animation including their own comic book library/publishing arm and an animation production studio, and credits on animated series including "Transformers: Rescue Bots", "Voltron Force", "Speed Racer: The Next Generation", "Wolverine and the X-Men".
Dan is the former VP of Development & Production for Le Vision Pictures USA, the US branch of one of China's largest film studios. Le Vision Pictures produced Chinas’s all-time highest grossing film franchise, TINY TIMES, co-financed/distributed THE EXPENDABLES 2 and 3, and released the blockbuster film, THE GREAT WALL, starring Matt Damon, Tian Jing, and Pedro Pascal.
Dan previously worked at multiple talent agencies (Abrams Artists Agency, Gersh, and APA), as a development executive working under Lawrence Bender (INGLORIOUS BASTARDS) and as an independent producer who has set up projects across film (Paramount) and television (CBS, CMT, Lionsgate TV, Universal Cable Productions). Dan was named as one of Variety's New Hollywood Leaders in 2016.

Within 15 minutes of your scheduled pitch, the exec will reach out by Skype or Phone. Your pitch session will last approximately 8 minutes.
Written Pitches will be no more than 2 pages submitted as a PDF or WORD document. Any written pitch uploaded past the deadline will not be shown to the executive and will result in a non-refundable forfeiture of your pitch.
Within 3-4 weeks of your pitch session, you will receive a Pitch Scorecard on which the exec you pitched will provide pitch feedback and note if they are PASSing, or would like to REQUEST your material.
If you are requested, you will be notified via email with further instructions. The execs will have 2-3 months to review your material and note if they are PASSing, or would like a MEETING. If a meeting is requested, we will introduce you via email.
