About Xahid

Xahid Khan is an Indian Filmmaker widely known for his short Alert – Condition: Red. Born in 1991 in a small village of Assam in North East India. A Business Graduate did Diploma in Filmmaking from Mumbai as well Diploma in Mass-Communication & Journalism. He started his career with his first Hindi film called Sand-The Love without Trust in 2015; it was screened throughout the small villages of Assam through mobile theaters and was loved by youngsters as well film lovers. His 2nd Film Alert-Condition: Red was Semifinalist in Academy Awards (OSCAR) Qualifying Film Festival “Best of India Short Film Festival, Los Angles”. For Alert Condition: Red he got international recognitions and won many awards including Best Films and Best Directors awards. His film “Mistake” which also has its round into many International, National as Well Regional Film Festival including Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival and won the best film awards in Emirates Short Film Festival ’19 in Dubai. His 5th Film Evening Gush a suspense drama also awarded in few festivals. He was nominated for North East India’s Person of The Year in the year 2018 and made his name in the list of North East Top 500 influential people. He got India Star Icon Award in 2019. Pins & Needles is his 6th film. He currently works as Filmmaking & Acting coach as well Filmmaker and Film Curator for few International & Regional film festivals in India.

Evening Gush (2021)
Film (short) by Xahid Khan Story, Screenplay & Direction Madhuhmita Kashyap (Jureen Mahanta) and Nilakshi Thakuria ( Nilakshi Kalita) are two young working women sharing a flat in Guwahati city. Madhusmita reached flat early and calls Nialkshi asking her to bring the eggs and bread for the breakfast. Nilakshi comes with eggs and bread and she grumble about the job and how her mother is sick. Madhusmita asked Nilakshi to have bath meanwhile she went to the kitchen to make tea for both. Madhusmita's phone rings from Nilakshi's phone, and a male says that Nilakshi met with an accident. Hearing the man Madhusmita freaks out and puzzled as Nilakshi is with her.
Nyega Aan (2020)
Film (short) by Xahid Khan Story, Screenplay & Direction A small family consisting of Grand Father, parents and a small boy. Like every day mother prepares the breakfast for everybody, take care of the sick old person, her father-in-law and wakes the husband up as well helps the son to get equipped for the school. At dining table when the boy questioned the definition of man his father answered expectantly. Hearing the explanation the small boy replied which surprised everybody and makes them comprehend of his reaction.
Mistake (2019)
Film (short) by Xahid Khan Screenplay & Direction PAAHI a young girl who messaged her boy friend but by mistake the message goes to her father who never had any hint about her boy friend. When she realizes the message went to her father she lost herself into the thought of her father's act in response to her message and how she will face her father. Is her father reacts wrathfully at her? What she learn from her Mistake?
Sand - The Love Without Trust (2017)
Film by Xahid Khan (Romance) Story, Screenplay & Directiion Have you ever thought about any relationship where there is no space of trust? Is it possible to keep a relationship without trust? NO. The answer is very simple but quite critical. Jay and Diya is in love but she breakup the relation when she misunderstand him because of trust issue she has. She moves to Delhi and Jay stays here in Guwahati. Finally Diya realizes her mistake but it's too late to get him back.
