From the west of Philadelphia, up and coming lyricist Duce Geez has had a life of ups and downs. His cousin was a victim to homicide when he was 6. His grandmother would die in front of him two years later due to heart complications. "As a kid I would keep a journal, but after awhile a journal of a kid in the hood sounds kinda soft , so I converted it to my rap book" says Geez! He has been under the radar setting up his way and time to properly present himself to the world! In 2010 he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communications Broadcasting from Widener University. Among his professors was Tim Furlong, reporter for NBC Philadelphia. The same year after interning for Radio One Philadelphia, he was hired as a board operator and commercial producer, working with names such as Michael Shawn, Lady B, Q Deezy, Poochman, Dc Todd, Kayla Moses, Cece Mcghee and the late E Steven Collins. After 3 years he left to indulge in a technical career but Hip-Hop kept calling him! "I feel that its the time, Philadelphians don't really know what to expect after Drake and Meek beef" says Geez. "I only can do what I do, stay humble and bring my best to the genre of Hip-Hop from my point of view!" Duce Geez lyrics are strong, witty, catchy and honest.
His first mixtape was "The Geez Samples" available on where he paid tribute to former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham.
In 2014, Geez would release a sophomore mixtape project titled "The Passion Of Geez" feature spots included Radio One Philadelphia personalities Mia Mendes, Kyle @The Club and Celly Geez. Listeners consider the track "Nighttime" a standout record!

"I felt that people were just letting the season of horror and fright fall by the waist side, I just wanted to do something for Halloween." The mixtape opened Duce Geez horizons as he would produce tracks like "Don't Play Wit Em" "Rage" "Michael" and "The Two Of Us".
