About Jay

I am a skilled screenwriter and filmmaker currently based in Montreal. Over the past two decades, I have honed my craft in various mediums, including corporate films, music videos, publicities, marketing campaigns, and movies. My work has been recognized in film festivals, and I have had the opportunity to engage in screenings, Q&A sessions, workshops, forums, and conventions. Currently, I work as an on-air promotion director, creating numerous movie and TV trailers catering to a diverse audience. My extensive career in the industry is a testament to my dedication and passion.

I am incredibly passionate about creative writing. While I initially leaned more towards movies, since 2015, I have been more interested in TV series. Though I have always loved films, their shorter format often omits significant narrative and relevant details. When I write, I aim to expand my universe to its limits and introduce new compelling twists, but most importantly, allow my characters to live, struggle, thrive, and fall.

Since 2015, I have had the privilege of working with renowned producers from Montreal, including Zone 3. Some of my TV projects have even developed, and I have pitched my ideas to significant broadcasters such as Netflix. I am eager to take my career to the next level and constantly seek to innovate and bring fresh, unprecedented ideas. My influences are diverse, from the classic 'Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat' to the contemporary 'Archer,' reflecting my versatility and adaptability as a storyteller.
