Derek Howard

While relative new to Austin, I have been doing video and film work for over a decade in locations all over the US. I have used these skills in many commercial projects such as promotional videos, ads, music videos, featurettes, etc. However, my main passion is in writing and directing my own films. I have a particular interest in stories in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Up till now these have primarily been short that have won a variety of awards and I have yet to make a feature. My goal is to focus on telling the best stories possible with high production value at low budgets. Eventually I hope to make feature films using this same philosophy.
