Jeanne is the Editor and Online Community Manager for Script Magazine and writes a column on ScriptMag.com entitled Balls of Steel. As a screenwriter, and has written several screenplays, including the adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Slavery by Another Name, with its author, Douglas A. Blackmon, former senior national correspondent of The Wall Street Journal. Her work has placed in competitions, including Austin Film Festival, Final Draft's Big Break and is one of the Top 25 in Tracking Board's Launch Pad Competition.
Jeanne is the co-Founder/moderator of the weekly Twitter screenwriters’ chat, Scriptchat. Outside of screenwriting, she has two novels in progress and consults with screenwriters on how to navigate the industry, face their fears and kick Hollywood's ass, even from across the country.
Her production company, Implicit Productions, launched with her short film, IMPASSE.
