Combining his fishing and sports enthusiasm with the expertise of local guides Simpson will provide a full angling experience to hook up with elusive fish in various travel destinations. Out on the water, away from the game, some of the best athletes in the world will join our fishing journey and offer intimate insights into their professional and personal lives. Take to the water with Mark and a new friend each episode for fishing adventures you will not soon forget. Guests will be offered a wide venue of fishing locations thoroughly researched by Mark to find the best fishing experience with the premier guide of the area. These locations will be fun and exotic such as Costa Rica, Panama, Cabo San Lucas, the Florida Keys for starters. In addition to these venues the show will also travel to the athlete and angle in their favorite local fisheries, such the Finger Lakes, the Great Lakes, and the Gulf of Mexico. Fresh water locations could be visited as well including the states of Colorado and Minnesota. This offers both an economic and timely alternative to filming. The format of the show provides an ideal environment for the guest to unwind, relax and open up to discuss their sport, their contribution to the sport, current circumstances in their field and their commitment and sacrifices to reach and maintain their level of excellence. The majority of guests currently slated for appearance are professional football athletes and coaches. Mark has great contacts to athletes in this venue through his close friendship with Rex and Rob Ryan.
