About the job

Seeking an Executive Producer from Anywhere.

I am a screenwriter / director with 3 short films and 1 feature length film to my credit. I am currently in development on a feature length drama entitled "Until the Music Fades."

"A runaway teenage girl and a washed up country musician who cross paths and must help each other face the personal tragedies from which they are both attempting to escape."

This story is like “Crazy Heart” meets “Juno” yet it is unique as it delves into social themes such as sexual abuse as well as ALS awareness. It focuses on a cross generational friendship which will appeal to many age groups.

I have a producer and director of photography on board as well as several cast members and I am currently approaching name talent. I am looking to bring an executive producer on board to help seek and procure financing. Pay will be a negotiated percentage of total budget. Hope to start filming in June 2020.

As a Line Producer I can extend to you my 25+ year experience in budgeting screenplays in order to expedite being financed, produced and distributed, in addition to providing more strength to the writer’s position, when negotiating option and sales agreements, able to demonstrate not only the creative aspects of the story, but also financial scale of the script, serving as an accurate assessment of cost in order to option, produce and/or serve as a tool in better determining value of sale for the script.

In order to have an accurate budget, I never start with the budget itself, but the script breakdown, of all primary elements, that can eventually be monetized. Then begins the top sheet budget for all phases of production. This is based on scale and creative concept aspects of the screenplay and industry standards for cast and crew equipment etc. as were found in the script breakdown. It’s common to follow the budgeting process by developing an estimated “Day out of Days” schedule, in order to reflect time involvement for all phases more accurately with the budget.

Please let me know if you or your clients may be interested in this service. I charge an industry standard flat rate, which is negotiable (Based on script concept and scale).

Multi-Scale Budget and Comprehensive Packaging samples are available upon request. I work with the industry standard programs EP - Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling.

"The budget reveals the underbelly of any endeavor, be it artistic or otherwise".

I’m looking forward to the possibility of collaborating.

Feel free to contact me via email.

Very best,
